@Type-IIx ive always wanted to do a question/answer with you on ACE vs ARBs regarding bradykinins it’s impact on LVH.

The effect of ACE inhibitors on bradykinin makes them the world's leading factor in acquired angioedema. The effect of the 17AAs on C1-INH has an opposite effect on C1-INH, decreasing it, probably by direct hepatic action on C1-INH rather an AR-mediated effect, hence why the attenuated androgens stanozolol, oxandrolone, danozol, are used clinically for hereditary angioedema. But even methyltestosterone is effective, it's just less tolerable for women & children because of its androgenicity.
