I have buddy who doesn't get this. He will not drop the fat and keeps "bulking"
 
Great study.

If you inject 1000mg of testosterone undecanoate once every 6 weeks, and that's the entirety of your cycle.

Otherwise, not so much.
 
This is so true and anyone who has started a cycle when they had high body fat knows it. Basically anyone who knows about gear knows this, but its cool that there is actual science to back it up instead of just bro science.

There are certain compounds that when run at a high body fat you dont even see the results. My cousin was an Division 1 offensive lineman when he was in college. He ran a cycle this summer of low dose test, 500mg Primo per week and 50 mg anavar per day... and you saw no change in him, at all... It was his first cycle, so i thought even something light like that would yield some nice gains but it did almost nothing.

Of course bro, i mean maybe i wasnt clear enough... When you have high body fat you are still taking the drugs, i just dont see people (myself included) get the full benefit from a bodybuilding standpoint. Power lifter's are in a different category in my opinion.

Even aside from the article and the study, i really feel like you dont see the gains as clearly from all AAS when you have high body fat (this is obvious). At the beginning of a cycle if you are trying to lose fat you cant eat as much to gain, its just a bad situation that i have been in myself.

No - as long as they want to just be strong fat men they don't need to lose...
Honestly - this is what we have all been knowing for decades.. Some guys want to be strong and others want to look strong and powerful and not have their hard work covered in blubber

When you have that much adipose tissue its just not good. I have spent the first 2 months of a cycle trying to lose fat and it sucks. But when you run 1 cycle per year you cant bulk and cut in different cycles so im kinda screwed. I learned my lesson, now i need to start with low body fat so i can just eat clean and moderately throughout the cycle.

I swear with some compounds like winstrol and primo if you are not lean you will see nothing in terms of "looks" Im sure a power lifter would get some strength gains but thats not what im looking for.
 
I did not realize that the strength gains would be reduced for fat guys. I knew from a bodybuilding perspective that it is a waste to use if your diet is not dialed in. I did not know that strength gains would be reduced.

Why did it say the strength gains would be less? I didnt catch that? The study is only about long acting test esters... its a very limited study, but it made me think about the results i have seen people get from AAS when they are not lean.

I am just talking about AAS in general. Not just test...
 
So glad this was posted. I refuse to go on anything if I'm holding too much fat. I've even cut cycles short after only a few weeks because my diet and cardio weren't in check and I'm not going to waste good gear when I'm not in it 100% with diet.

Since I get fat easily I like to stay lean most of the year and tend to diet harder when I'm on a cycle and I always respond wayyy better to aas when I'm rather lean. It ends up being a less gained than if I was fatter and kept eating that way... but this way I gain clean solid mass and people think I've gained twice as much because it looks so damn good.

I feel like I've been in denial all this time. Been using gear almost three years and once in a while I'll think to myself "aas isn't what I thought". Well I guess I was never truly LEAN enough/as I should of been when starting a cycle to see MAJOR results.... Trial and error

I have a similar body type, i put on fat easily. I have always crash dieted to get lean in a hurry, but sometimes ill start a cycle before i get lean. Im sick of it, im not doing it anymore, i swear this year im going to stay lean.

When i hit the gear in the spring i want to be in tip top shape already so i can just gain.
 
I think most know this but constantly lie to ourself's

(lol) you do have to laugh when guys who are fat look to aas to lose it all but also want to get bigger!:rolleyes:
 
Dont get me wrong im never a fat ass lol. I have just started cycles when im not as lean as i would like to be. By no means was i fat, just didnt have abs.

I start seeing my best gains once im totally lean, so in the future i want to maximize the results. Besides im sick of dieting to lose fat, i want to try to stay lean year round, that way i dont have to lose weight quickly.
 
My GP was just talking with me about this. He knows I use gear and GH and he was talking about how a lot of anti-aging docs won't even prescribe test to guys with high bodyfat because it's not as effective and has a higher possibility of aromatizing.

I was off AAS for 5 years and have only cycled the last 2 summers. The summer before that my doc would not give me the test script for that exact reason, but i actually didnt want it. He gave me a script of phentermine instead lol. I wasnt what a normal person would consider fat, but for people who train i was certainly a little over weight.

I had been back in the gym for a while after a 2 year break and i was eating everything in sight to get some of my mass back naturally. It was hard to lose that weight, ill never make that mistake again.
 
Fat guys....looks like you just need to take more.
