Do many people here use Rice as their main carb source?
I did not used to like it, as I found white rice much to easy to overeat and brown rice chewy and gave me bloat.
I do this now:
1. Soak 1kg Brown rice overnight (8-10hrs) in plenty of filtered alkaline water.
2. In the morning before I start my 30-40min Fasted cardio I rinse rice 3-5 times.
2. Then Add 10g Salt, 30ml Apple Cider Vinegar and 50ml EVOO to 1920ml of
filtered alkaline water and the 1000g of Brown Rice - and let cook in rice cooker. Takes about 30min.
3. Comes out really gluggy and sticky. Triples in weight. Gains 7.5g of Good fats per 400g cooked weight. Very easy to eat, even 2-3 days later, it never dries out. Due to EVOO I guess.
4. I have been able to eat 400g Cooked weight Brown rice per meal (100g Carb, 10g Protein, 10g Fat and 6g Fiber) per meal. And gain less bodyfat and less bloat than what half that weight in rice used do to me.
5. It does something to the rice, kills phytic acid or develops more Resistant Starch - Im not sure. But I have never been able to eat so much rice and keep my stomach so flat and gain so little bodyfat from so many carbs.
Does anybody else cook rice or other grains/starchs like this?
