Pics taken last week.. 242 lbs. Turning 50 this year. Was in prep for first contest in june.. Developed major R hip issues.. Likely replacement.... have to plan on contest next year.
Legs were lagging.. but coming up ... Hip issues with no squats and cardio has sidelined that.. I will likely do replacement and focus on legs for next year.. Thanks for comments and support..

Doing great! Sorry to hear about the set back. Good luck with the hip and try to keep your spirits up. I know how bummed out one can get due to an injury.
Looking great Johnny! Guys like us that's been around a while gotta keep going! Sorry about the hip replacement. Will you be able to hit weights hard once that's done? My doctor wants to do a shoulder replacement on me, but I am declining as long as possible. He told me no more heavy weight training once that's done. That may be just for shoulder replacements though.
Thanks Brick.. From what i have heard.. Most are back 100% within a month or two.. With most able to lift more safely because of the surgery.. Sure its different with shoulder..
