Drop the T3, there is no quick fix when it comes to losing weight. What is your buddy going to do once he stops the T3....fuck it, he's going to do it anyway. Tell him good luck.....I have seen these types before and in the end, they go back to being fat and lazy.

I did T3 after they outlawed ephedrine. It was the worse thing I ever put in my body. My family has known thyroid problems and it took me months to feel better after I stopped. Stay with just the clen or bronkaid and caffeine pills.
