Didn't even notice! Maybe it was meant to coincide with the old Miami Vice program. I did find the series interesting.

Miami Vice is the greatest 80’s television series of all time.

Thanks for your insight, Marssel. I don't suppose that Americans are popular in most countries, but I always thought Japanese people were chill.

They are chill but we did nuke them and honestly I can’t speak for the other branches but yea as an 18 year old Marine my first year there I acted like an asshole, generally on purpose, never to harm but just young and stupid. Imagine a bunch of teenage guys on liberty doing stuff like on Jackass drunk riding shopping carts down roads at 3 am, skinny dipping in public beaches just stupid shit. They resented us and we resented them, my last year I was better. Now Thailand, Korea, Australia all seem to like Americans (or did) but most other places yea I didn’t feel a lot of love. Again we earned it but then again young men act crazy we are also the ones who wind up dying defending these other nations so you got to put up with our shit but it beats sending your sons to die. That said the world looks nothing like it did 10 years ago so my comments here may be irrelevant already.

I live down here in Miami, I run into Sonny Crocket every now and then. Haven't seen Tubbs though.

Yeah, I guess dropping an Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki would result in a lasting resentment.
