West side of Cleveland. Great area overall with a sprinkle of the bad. We're a regular city on The First 48 for murder...
That’s how I see it. What surprises me is that I seem to be more stressed about this than others around me. I honestly think it will get worse- especially in the cities. Salaries are not going up and everything else is.Seems like the west is heading more and more towards socialism. More govt intervention, more taxes, more inflation , deteriorating social services, even bigger govt, etc. We all collectively sink towards an inferior standard of living. Yet we have learned nothing.
Look at my picture, I have ESCONDIDO tatted below my belly button with the "D"s crossed out lol (old rival gang diss). If you look at my right top wrist you will see "EV" that stands for ESCO VIEJO/ESCO VARRIO (OLD ESCONDIDO) / (OLD NEIGHBORHOOD) another gang reference also a tribute to the victorian 1800s houses that are exist in the WSG neighborhood. My sister-in-law lives in Escondido. Before when she was single she rented an apt in La Jolla. I love SD for all the reasons everyone does. Especially La Jolla. Definitely crazy expensive w rent/real estate and food/gas. But so close to the beach and always something to do. We considered moving so she can be w her twin. We could afford a nice apt in La Jolla or Encinitas (I really liked the vibe there) but things like vacation/travel would take a hit. Salaries are a little
Higher than here but not enough to totally offset the expenses. And to go from a house w land to a sub 1000sq/ft apt is daunting.
But had some amazing sushi there and loved training at The Gym SD outside. I felt like Arnold in the old days at Venice haha
No one from CA is relocating to SD dude lolThat’s where I’m at. Winters are hard and summers are brutally hot and crazy humid. Cost of living is cheap but the jobs here don’t pay shit. Too many illegals here working for Pennie’s on the dollar. I’m so sick of these fucking illegals. I may have called a few in last week. A job I was making 3-4 grand a week doing in Washington pays 2000 a month. Houses are not cheap we live in a new 3rd r 2 bath duplex and the want 600,000 for it lol California prices on houses for all the Californians moving here
everyone in ca is moving to AZ, NM, TX mostly and FL now, many people I grew up with are in AZ and TX especially , some went to COLORADONo one from CA is relocating to SD dude lol
It's literally the least popular state (in terms of relocation) along with ND, Alaska and Delaware.
And the reason a job is paying less is BECAUSE of the lower cost of living.
I can have a job in CA or NYC that might pay me 250-300k. But that same job in say Oregon, Idaho, Utah, etc will nevvver pay me that. That's a fairly well known thing.
Reading is a shithole. Small. But a shithole.lol. My sister has a few friends that bought land in TN but not sure where.
lol. You’re right- I was thinking of Northeast. I had to go to Reading a few months back and there was a rest area right before my exit. It was super clean and nice- nothing like the shitty ones on the NJ Turnpike.
One of the reasons I left…used to live in florida.. was great until every new yorker and everybody from the northest moved there during covid... now its the fifth burrow....
too many people... to congested. real estate is through the roof expensive... its basically been destroyed by the contstant building of homes...
would take me 30 min to get from one side of sarasota to the other.now it takes 2 hours...
its practically unlivable.
moved back to the midwest to escape that.....
where i live now is not much better...
I had to look back to see exactly where I went cause it didn’t look like a “shithole”. It was N. Reading Rd. in Ephrata. Like I said, it looked well kept and the rest stop right by there was spotless.Reading is a shithole. Small. But a shithole.
You got some nice ink flows and ehanhances your physique...ever thought about getting something on the traps? I wanna go up more but can't think of anything that fits in there well without getting the neck lolLook at my picture, I have ESCONDIDO tatted below my belly button with the "D"s crossed out lol (old rival gang diss). I have had numerous assassination attempts on my life in my past in escondido. I grew up on the WS I was from the established gang there. MAPLE BLOCK
I lived also in UTC right next to la jolla no comparison! i loved it , pure college kids and wealthy people, very culturally diverse.
Escondido has cleaned up a lot after they put me and all my friends and old enemies on 2 separate gang junctions, we had two major rico sweeps (mx mafia)also that took everyone I grew up with away. Thus making it a criminal act for us to wear certain padres and chargers jerseys, and hats with certain symbols etc. You could also in theory catch your third strike just being in same vehicle as another documented gang member etc etc. And if your dorky cousin was caught walking with you, and you are documented, he was now documented too and there goes their rights. CRAZY. ACLU later fought for us and it was deemed a violation of constitutional civil rights and they were all dropped (same thing happened in LA). I have a love hate relationship with escondido but I will never go back. Thats where I was raided by feds in 2020 as well. Encinitas is a dope ass city in north county as far as coastal/beach but CARLSBAD is the best by far. Moonlight beach is incredible, I went to a satsang at the self realization fellowship there with famous best selling author don Miguel Ruiz (the 4 agreements). and swamis beach (they named after paramahansa) is right there too as well as the mediation gardens! I grew up surfing that beach man , its only 15-20 inland from esco if you take del dios highway. Encinitas is more hippy beach vibe compared to RICH del mar, quiet solana beach, or amazing carlsbad. I just moved from Carlsbad. yes @ apt. I am in SM right now about 2 cities away. Oceanside is like sand diego venice beach its gang infested and full of wierdos and all walks of life, dislike. I lived in VC also semi recently

Ummm Tennessee is wide open, mild and quick winters, spring and summer most of the year, some of the lowest property taxes in the country, actual affordable homes on huge lots of land, including new construction, incredible hillside views, all the guns and ammo you can handle, illegal for aircrafts to spray overhead metals and aerosols, southern hospitality, genuinely nice people, hot chicken, southern cooking, no weed tho and probably will never be….
All in all though…stay out of Tennessee, you’ll hate it here.
Very few jobs in NYC are paying 250-300k a year. Many of the people who are making that money in NYC are the same ones who are leaving. I have multiple friends who make that money and have already left for NC and Florida. And yes, plenty of Californians are moving to SD as well as Idaho. No one from CA is relocating to SD dude lol

I’m starting to look at Vegas but maybe a smaller city outside of Vegas. Also maybe other cities in Nevada. Ideally I would live within a few miles to a decent sized town with everything you need. Dont want to deal with winter months anymore.I live in SLC, UT. Love it here. it has grown a ton over my lifetime (41) which has made me love it less. If you love the outdoors, here, Denver, boise, Missoula
If you don't want cold weather, maybe Vegas? 4 hours ish from LA, tons of stuff to do off the strip. good gyms, taxes are good? so I am told. a few good smaller cities adjacent to Vegas like Henderson. a few places you can get up into the "hills" that will be a little cooler. a few hot months a year that you stay inside more less, but it beats six cold months where you hide inside and shovel shit snow
What are you looking for in your retirement, things you "NEED" can't live without, hobbies you want to take up
No one was discussing THE AMOUNT of high paying jobs. That's an irrelevant point that was never the issue.Very few jobs in NYC are paying 250-300k a year. One of the reasons I left…
Dallas or Vegas are my next experiments.
