Kayla Harrison looks insane being at 135lbs. for the first time. She competed in judo at 175lbs. and that was an in shape weight. I can't imagine how brutal it was for her to get so far down.

Kayla Harrison looks insane being at 135lbs. for the first time. She competed in judo at 175lbs. and that was an in shape weight. I can't imagine how brutal it was for her to get so far down.

Yea, she made it barely, but she looked like death with some skeleton face going on, lol. By time she met later with the face-face-offs with Holly, they both had filled-out some. I thought Kayla would look much bigger, but Holly looks pretty stacked as well, especially in the shoulders. It could have just been the angling of the video, but it will be interesting to see them tonight. Classic striker and ground fight. This is a HUGE step-up for Kayla...first fight in the UFC in front of the crowd, fighter's experience compared to other divisions, the hype of it, and to fight somebody like Holly....she has a lot to overcome outside of just the fight itself. We'll see where she is at though. If she doesn't get the takedown, it could be a long night for her.

That was as dominant a performance as Kayla could have hoped for! Not sure WTF Holm was thinking about clenching up with her in the first round. Horrendous decisions by Holm, and Kayla took everything and dominated. Got the first fight UFC jitters out and now I can't wait to see her continue to rise. If she wins the title, i can see her pulling Nunes out of retirement! <-----Not trying to get too far ahead though.
