What’s your go-to cheat meal?

I know I am the oddity but find five guys so overrated. It's good but not that good. And so expensive for a fast food burger went for a few dollars more you can get gourmet restaurant burgers.

For example I do a peanut butter and bacon with fried egg bison burger at one spot. And a "hangover burger " two patties, bacon, pimento cheese hash brown patty and fried egg at another. And they legit cost three dollars more than five guys

I really like five guys but when you do look at the cost you are right. There are some really nice gourmet burger spots around us where you can get a massive burger and fries for $12-$18 and the five guys burgers are damn near that.

Yep. Very over rated.

There's 5 burger places around here which are twice as good as the local 5 Guys.

My wife and I have turned into burger snobs over the years so our go to is almost always saturday night burgers, fries, and donuts. We are really big on burgers and donuts lol.

Im such a sucker for donuts. I can easily throw down 3-5 donuts without batting an eye lol

Me too, I generally like sweets but I have always loved donuts. I travel a lot for work and there are so many mom and pop cool donut places all over the country too.

Going back 30 years now I was visiting the US, I was in Columbus Ohio and I had a Taco Bell which at the time I thought was really tasty and we had nothing like that here back then.

A few years back they started to pop up in the UK and the taste was terrible. I don't know if that's just a US/UK thing or if the quality went down over the years in general.

Any Taco Bell fans? Has the quality gone down?

McDonald's double quarter pounder, medium fries with hot mustard sauce, and an Oreo McFlurry

Pulled pork dinner with extra BBQ sauce, mac and cheese, greens, and a pint of banana pudding

Ihop Spicy Poblano omelette, hash browns with onions and cheese, stack of pancakes with extra butter and syrup

Sooooo jelly….. I love a donut but always steer clear of em. Cause I can eat 5 or 6 of em and still not feel like I ate anything. A dozen ain’t shit to shovel on down. I haven’t actually ate a donut in over 10 years for this very reason. Soooooo good!

Used to love Taco Bell in my teens, but haven’t tried it in a very long time! My go to back then was the chili-cheese & bean burritos.

I think it’s definitely changed for the worse but I can still tear it up on rare occasions. Plus it’s stupid expensive anymore for the crap you’re getting. I’ve always been partial to the Mexican pizza with extra meat and jalapeños
