Viberzi definitely strains the gallbladder. It’s actually contraindicated in patients who have had their gallbladder removed as there is more than a 70% chance that it will cause pancreatitis. My GI prescribed it to me about 4 years ago to help my ibs and I did some research and found this. There’s actually a warning right on the medicationMy monthly bloodwork came in. There's the good, and the not so good. The bad point is lipids (obviously, 950mg test/week). My doc bro seems to think I should stop the Viberzi. He said it can cause problems in the gall bladder and bile ducts and can lead to pancreatitis. Although pancreas and kidneys are good he says play it safe. He said that may be causing the higher lipids with not digesting fats well enough. Still referred me to a lipidologist to make sure I'm not beginning stages of fatty liver disease just to be safe. Didn't want to do a male hormone panel said, "I don't even want to look at those numbers." I said, "No, you probably don't." I feel great.
Standard, comprehensive metabolic, and lipid panels:
Cholesterol Total: 262 High (definitely needs work)
HDL: 38 Low (a little low but not bad)
LDL: 224 High (this is for a limited duration but I'll still get some medication, don't like statins)
Triglycerides: 839 High (insane but around where my father's are at 84yrs-old, genetic)
Glucose: 96 (great)
Urea Nitrogen (BUN): 10 (great)
Creatinine: 0.98 (great)
Sodium: 139 (great)
Potassium: 4.1 (great)
Chloride: 101 (great)
AST: 42 High (a little high)
ALT: 57 High (a little high) like AST but doc says, "I couldn't give a shit about that with your exercise."
PSA: 1.67 (great) Doc says, "No wonder you still have your hair." LOL
Also, do you take tudca? Newer research seems to be showing that it can condition your own bile salt to be less caustic on your digestive system, while also aiding your ability to break down fats and reversing some damage to the gall bladder system. Something to think about maybe. And since you still have your gallbladder, might not be a bad idea to use some ox bile to help digest fats and remove some of the load your gallbladder has to carryMy monthly bloodwork came in. This is good. Because you know I'll be obsessing over that triglyceride number until my next blood panel. 3 more bottles of Liver Well just arrived yesterday. I'll check out TUDCA/UDCA.Also, do you take tudca? Dude, I'm going to miss that Viberzi. Any lower abdominal cramps, even like when you do a lot of crunches, it's gone in 5 minutes. I'm allergic to almost every opioid. They work but I get violent nausea and puke and dry heaves. It's been decades. But that element in opioids that relaxes the muscles of your intestines and get's rid of cramps and the squirts was what it was originally for. Paregoric that's been sold in pharmacies since the 1800's is morphine!Viberzi definitely strains the gallbladder. Ya man, I was pretty devastated that the only fda approved treatment for ibs in existence, that also seems to be effective, is something I can’t lose. I struggled for a long time at that point wondering if I could go on doing this any longer. I was being hospitalized for dehydration once or twice a month. Violent diarrhea and fermented vomiting a couple times a week. The last time I was in the hospital the GI told me he thought I should use thc to help my symptoms, and when I told him I couldn’t do to working in the prison system he said I should consider finding a new job. I was so frustrated that all the tests were doing were showing nothing they could pinpoint. I was in the hospital for 5 days. They almost removed my appendix (it was very swollen on mri) until the surgeon actually came and asked me some questions and determined that wasn’t it(my guts were swollen because of all the execess bile being leaked into my lower intestine)At one point the nurse told my wife while I was in the restroomDude, I'm going to miss that Viberzi. Viberzi has all the GI effects but nothing else. It's an amazing piece of chemistry and I will miss it. Immodium now. Great...
Ive been adding in heavy bag rounds for a few years now. keeps things sharpUp and at 'em. It's cardio time. Morning treadmill in AM, maybe hit the heavy bag tonight. EAT!
Seen brothers with similar symptoms down range. Alot of it was stress related. that if I didn’t calm down they were going to put me on a 72 hour psyche hold. I’ve really been struggling the last week or two also. I’ve gone to the bathroom probably 15 plus times a day for over a week now. It causes me a lot of anxiety at times. I guess it’s time to try again with the gi and see if there’s any answers

Own $BTC, $ADA, $ETH, $LINK, and $DOTIf not already in, I would recommend you look into crypto (if you can handle the volatility). Very bullish on ADA and have a lot invested in it. My likely pick to be a 2022 top coin. Although riskier, I have a good amount of money also invested in meme coins like DOGE and SHIBA also. I bought low, so I’m just HODLing.
