What % of your daily protein is whey?

Does anybody here eat 100g + protein from powders? Any problems in the bathroom lol
 
I once ate 450g of protein (counting only meat etc., I never include protein from rice or other similar products) 70g of isolate in the pre meal and 100g in the post meal (powder weight 90% iso) - currently I eat 70g of isolate in the pre meal and 50g in the post meal post workout meal (in the fasting meal I eat another 45-50g of chicken breast protein) at this point I eat about 400g of protein (not counting plant proteins)

I've never had problems and no one should if they have good quality whey isolate

I stopped using protein powders. Digestion and making me fill full all day, didn't wont to eat whole foods. I do use eaas and beef liver powder post.

I'm at zero and I feel so much better. I've replaced almost all my whey with meat specifically. I'm not saying it's the be all end all and if I'm in a pinch when traveling for work I'll grab a protein shake but even then you can go in any grocery store and buy ready to eat food so I'll even run in and grab some cooked chicken or a rotisserie chicken rather than protein.

I don't think whey is "bad". It's just a food product but I have to admit since I 100% discarded it several months ago I do feel better. I was having about 2-3 scoops a day until 6 months or so ago.
 
Since i switched from concentrate to hydrolysate digestion is so much better. But the price is literally 2x more.
 
Every day is at least one serving of whey isolate, I want a wide variety of amino acid profiles, so I do my best to have whey, eggs, chicken, beef, sometimes fish every day.
 
You mix protein powder and egg whites and drink it? That's fucking disgusting haha. More power to you I guess. I just use 50 grams of protein powder preworkout and intra-workout or do little one scoop every 2 hours half meals
Yes pasteurized. Something tells me you don’t know the difference between egg whites and pasteurized egg whites. You can literally drink them out time out the carton they have no flavor and the same viscosity as water.

That's a great idea; I've never thought of it that way. How do you make the food prep side make sense without being a complete time consuming pain in the ass?

It's not for everyone, but I've added a metric ton of seafood and I've really enjoyed it so far. Of course, not a lot of people like seafood all that much lol.
 
I mean if you're only getting 250g of protein in, realistically you can eat enough meat for that. A shake here and there isn't bad at all.

Currently im at around 420-450 complete protein sources (like Luki, not counting rice or oats or anything else) but that probably puts me north of 500g TOTAL. With that being said, i dont drink whey only shakes. My protein powder is a mix of whey, casein, beef isolate, and egg white. It's mimicking the digestion of real food. I also don't juuust drink protein powder. I add 1.5 scoops to 8oz of egg whites and drink that. Basically, even if im driniing a liquid, i want it to be as close to REAL FOOD as possible.

She cooks and preps all my stuff.

I remember a few years back using that beef liver powder, NOW brand. It was so nasty. However, to this day I'm a big fan of liver tabs.

How much liver powder do you use? Do you just mix it with water and chug it?
 
1 30g whey isolate shake with 20g dextrose post workout but I don’t count that in my macros
 
In m y growing years when i was eating 300-350 gr/day. whey would make up about 15% of my protein intake. I always seemed to grow better off whole food.
These day 200gr/day with whey being about 25%. Which i mix with egg whites. Keep thinking i should go back to eating more whole food. But after 30 years of 5-6+ meals a day it just seems like more work then i care to take on.
 
Most of the times 0. Depending of my plan. I may have some with cor/oats when 'eating more' or just as same meal as some replacement
